A former colleague of mine reached out to commission me to create a painting for her office. Her career has taken off like a rocket since I first met her, and it’s 100% due to the effort and intention she has put into it. The piece includes her favorite colors and will be visible from the Zoom camera. It’s an investment in her growth, an expression of her professional image, and a gift to herself. I am so proud to see someone I admire building a career that is her own. I relate to her journey and I feel very lucky to have been involved in this incredible story in my own little way.
