“Alternate Endings” features multiple layered patterns and a collage background of vintage/reused materials. My favorite feature of this piece is the many ways I’ve incorporated contrast/duality: patterned/solid, transparent/opaque, subtle/bold, and so on. There are so many wonderful details to discover!

24x24” acrylic, pencil, and collage (fabric and paper) on canvas, sealed with satin varnish. Framed in a natural maple frame for final dimensions of 25x25x2.”
